Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Stockton, CA seeks a Surgical Tech to support the operating room team under the supervision of the registered nurse, delivering safe intra-operative care and maintaining sterile technique and patient comfort.

The role requires scrubbing, data collection, documentation, adherence to safety protocols, and participation in call schedules. BLS certification and NCCT credential within one year are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School or Military trained required.
• Current BLS Certification.
• NCCT certification required within one year of hire/transfer.
• Experience: at least one year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care under RN supervision in the intra-operative period.
• Collects data and reports pertinent nursing care information to the RN.
• Maintains documentation standards accurately and timely.
• Maintains asepsis and performs scrub duties within scope of practice.
• Takes call as assigned and participates in Emergency Call Schedule.
• Assists in meeting emotional and educational needs of patient and family.
