Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support surgeries by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting the surgeon throughout procedures. This role requires graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program, CST/CBSPD certifications preferred, and BLS upon hire, with prior OR experience and deep understanding of sterile fields and instrumentation.

Responsibilities include equipment prep, instrument sterilization, room turnover, and pulling case

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited education program for Surgical Technologists.
• CST certification desired.
• CBSPD Ambulatory certification desired.
• BLS-Certification upon hire.
• Previous Operating Room experience with demonstrated Operating Room technical ability required.
• Demonstrated understanding of surgical/sterile field, surgical instrumentation and surgical processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and set up sterile field with instruments.
• Assist surgeon throughout the procedure and maintain sterile technique.
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instrumentation.
• Pull case supplies for next day procedures.
• Terminally clean OR suites and perform room turnover.
• Maintain readiness of equipment and supplies.
