The OR Scheduler position at Lee Health is the first point of contact for physician offices to schedule Surgical, Endoscopic, Endovascular Lab or Interventional Radiology procedures across Lee Health facilities. Qualifikationen

• Education: High School or equivalent required. Post high school training or college preferred.
• Experience: Medical scheduling experience preferred; Epic experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills.

Aufgaben

• Schedule surgical, endoscopic, endovascular IR procedures and other interventional cases in Op Time.
• Verify insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization for procedures.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, physicians and staff to coordinate care.
• Maintain accuracy and organize scheduling during prime time hours.
