Bon Secours Mercy Health in Suffolk, VA is seeking an Operating Room RN to deliver high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced team environment.

The RN will assess patients, support the surgical team, and provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care in alignment with our standards. Minimum education and licensure required will be met, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred; may be required depending on department.
• CNOR and SGNA are preferred but not required.
• Two years of RN experience in Critical Care is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care in the OR.
• Assess patient status and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor and maintain a safe surgical environment and patient comfort.
• Coordinate needs of the surgical team with other care providers.
