Job summary

Rutherford Regional Health System, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Operating Room team. Typical hours are 7:00am–3:30pm, with 1–2 call shifts per week. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible candidates who provide exceptional perioperative care.

You will perform pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments, support the surgical team, and ensure patient safety. Compliance with licensure and ACLS/BLS requirements is expected.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license or compact state license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs thorough pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to ensure safe patient care.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and supports efficient workflow.
• Provides age- and procedure-appropriate nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to deliver high-quality outcomes.
