Job summary

Ilocatum in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team as a Circulator. You will support perioperative care, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and help ensure efficient, safe procedures.

The ideal candidate holds an active NC or compact license, BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 90 days, and a minimum of two years' OR circulator experience, with orthopedic, general surgery, and OB/GYN procedures valued.

Qualifications

• Active NC or Compact license to practice in North Carolina.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Surgery and OR Circulating RN roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation for all surgical procedures.
• Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Deliver age-appropriate and procedure-specific nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
