Proliance Surgeons is seeking an experienced RN to perform pre-surgical nursing assessments and educate patients before admission at the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role supports the surgical team and coordinates preoperative clearances and diagnostics to ensure a smooth perioperative process.

The RN will assess patient care needs, communicate the plan of care to the ASC, and document activities while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current state licensure with CPR, ACLS and PALS accreditation.
• Two years of OR, Preop, PACU/Recovery Room, Intensive Care or Emergency Room experience is desired.
• Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred, with ability to educate patients across perioperative phases.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-surgical nursing assessments and educate the patient prior to admission.
• Assess care needs and obtain necessary pre-surgical clearances and diagnostics.
• Communicate patient plan of care to the ASC team.
• Assist with equipment and supply availability and function during procedures.
• Document care accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Participate in continuing education to meet state requirements and safety standards.
• Support professional standards and represent the Center positively in the community.
