Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden, UT is seeking a Manager Surgical to lead nursing teams on designated unit(s), collaborating with physicians and the Director to uphold standards of practice and patient flow.

The Nursing Manager will demonstrate clinical competency, mentor staff, and respond to needs with House Supervisor to ensure high-quality care in a dynamic health care environment.

Qualifications

• Current Utah nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years in a nursing supervisory position with 3 years clinical experience in acute care.
• Bachelor’s degree required within 3 years of hire.
• BLS/ACLS certification and Basic Rhythm Interpretation within six months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and shared accountability for nursing practice standards.
• Manage the flow of patients and information to expedite care.
• Collaborate with physicians and House Supervisor to meet unit needs.
• Demonstrate clinical competency and nursing judgment; mentor staff.
