Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license required and active.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of RN experience with critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care during the shift.
• Directs, monitors and evaluates nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Serves as a resource person for staff and supports staff scheduling.
• Collaborates with management to improve outcomes and service.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Operates nursing strategies such as hourly rounds and staff engagement initiatives.
• Involves interviewing, training, and performance evaluation processes.
• Manages inventory control and supplies/equipment.
