Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden, UT seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead and coordinate Med Surg nursing staff during the shift. You will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborate with the management team to drive clinical outcomes.

You will participate in staffing, training, and performance processes, assist with admissions/discharges, and promote efficient throughput and a patient-first culture across the unit.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and maintained.
• ACLS, PALS, and BCLS required by deadlines stated.
• Prior leadership/coordination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs, monitors and evaluates nursing care on the unit during the shift.
• Oversees admissions/discharges for efficient throughput.
• Collaborates with management to improve patient outcomes and staff development.
• Participates in staff interviewing, training, and performance initiatives.
• Manages staff scheduling within productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and equipment/supply management.
