Job summary

Maia Plastic Surgery in Tysons Corner, VA is seeking a full-time Surgical Nurse to join a patient-centered aesthetic team. The role involves preparing the operating room, organizing instruments, and assisting the surgeon and clinical staff before, during, and after procedures.

Daily duties include pre-operative assessments, intraoperative monitoring, post-operative care and patient education on recovery and follow-up visits, with a focus on infection control and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated OR experience including sterile technique and perioperative workflows.
• Strong foundation in medicine and nursing principles; apply clinical judgment in surgical and recovery settings.
• Hands-on experience in surgery support, including pre-op preparation, intraoperative assistance, and post-op monitoring and care.
• Proven commitment to patient care, including education, safety, comfort, and empathetic communication.
• Active RN license in Virginia (or eligibility for licensure); BSN preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Responsibilities
