Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Georgia RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of one year PACU or ICU experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize and respond to emergencies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Credentialing, competency, and pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform perioperative nursing assessments and documentation.
• Provide preoperative nursing care and patient education.
• Circulating RN responsibilities when assigned and competency-validated.
• Participate in surgical time-outs, safety checks, and specimen handling.
• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care and monitor vitals.
• Coordinate preoperative visits, procedures, and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient information and medical records.
• Support accreditation readiness and compliance with facility standards.
