Job summary

Dr. Naz' practice in Tysons, VA seeks a skilled Medical Assistant to manage daily patient flow in a busy oculofacial plastic surgery and aesthetics setting. You will assist with consults, injections, photos, and post-care education, ensuring a precise, boutique-level patient experience.

The role requires at least 3 years in a medical setting, dermatology/plastic surgery exposure, strong EMR skills, and excellent communication and multitasking abilities. On-site, full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a medical practice.
• Experience with Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Medical Spa and Injectables preferred.
• Proficient computer and EMR skills.
• Strong communication, organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Triage and room patients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
• Conduct effective patient consultations to determine goals and educate patients.
• Set up for dermal filler injections and prepare neurotoxins as advised.
• Accurately document patient information in the EMR and scribe notes for physicians.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and follow-up calls to patients.
• Take precise before/after photos and manage medical inventory.
• Support physician with consults, price quotes, and injections.
