Mia Aesthetics in Miami, FL seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join the PACU team. You will provide postoperative care, monitor patients, and support surgeons and anesthesia teams. The role emphasizes rounds, patient education, and coordination with medical staff to ensure safe recovery.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, and an active RN license is required. On-the-job training and ongoing professional development are offered, with opportunities for advancement within a growing cosmetic

Formación

• Associates degree or BSN required.
• Active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year PACU experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in primary care of patients as needed and makes rounds to verify patient needs are met.
• Provides nursing care related to surgical conditions and post-operative recovery.
• Monitors patients and informs surgeons or anesthesiologists of complications.
• Assists in coordinating patient care activities with medical staff for continuity of care.
• Documents information received from patients and disseminates to appropriate personnel.
• Pre/Post-Operative orders are carried out and documented.
• Educates patients and families on post-operative care and discharge planning.
• Maintains organization of postoperative areas and ensures stock levels of supplies.

Conocimientos

Bilingual English/Spanish

Educación

Associates or BSN required

Active RN license

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing

BLS & ACLS certification
