Job summary

Aiken Physicians Alliance is seeking a Medical Scribe to support physicians in documenting patient encounters and ensuring accurate medical records. The role focuses on assisting with history, exam notes, and orders in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of scribe experience, familiarity with medical terminology, and strong attention to privacy. On-site University, MO setting with opportunities for professional growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years medical scribe experience is preferred.
• Medical terminology training/experience is preferred.
• Ability to record exam details accurately and maintain privacy.

Responsibilities

• Accompany physician into exam room to transcribe history and exam.
• Document diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions and prescriptions.
• Transcribe orders including labs, radiology, medications.
• Document procedures performed by the physician.
• Other duties as required.
