Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking on-site medical scribes to work alongside doctors, documenting patient visits in real time, including histories, exams, tests and treatments to keep records accurate. No experience is required as we provide paid training through Scribe University.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM is required.
• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking.
• Strong listening and communication skills are essential.
• Flexible schedule availability and ability to work on-site.
• Access to a laptop is provided after training; training is paid.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams and treatments.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
