Minidoka Memorial Hospital in Rupert, Idaho is seeking a Materials Clerk to compile and maintain records of quantity, cost, and type of surgical materials, and to prepare material requisitions.

You will move cases and boxes between departments, label supplies for charging, maintain accurate inventory, verify invoices, and assist in annual physical inventory, billing coordination, and vendor orders. This on-site role requires clear communication and basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Compile and maintain records of material quantity, cost, and type for the surgical department.
• Prepare material requisitions by performing duties.
• Move cases and boxes to various departments within the institution.
• Label medical and surgical supplies with appropriate charge labels.
• Maintain accurate inventory control with regard to material received, stocked and issued.
• Fills requisitions by moving supplies to appropriate departments.
• Routinely checks supplies in various departments for outdated materials.
• Stocks shelves in various departments based on departmental needs and requisitions.
• Checks current invoice prices with prices listed on inventory control files.
• Assist in annual physical inventory of medical and surgical supplies in General Stores.
• Works with billing department to verify accuracy of surgical charges based on current pricing agreements.
• Compares information on requisitions, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of order.
• Prepares requests for procurement of material.
• Works with internal and external vendor representatives to ensure accuracy and timeliness of order processing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
