Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented Materials Management Associate to manage MMIS requisitions for operating room inventory and other areas. You will place orders, track deliveries, and ensure inventory levels meet operating room needs.

Strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Excel and MS Office are required; prior purchasing experience and familiarity with GPO databases are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 2 years prior purchasing experience with knowledge of supply chain management principles.

Responsibilities

• Process system requisitions in MMIS for inventory in the OR and other areas.
• Place purchase orders to suppliers and provide follow-up.
• Maintain inventory data and assist with ensuring adequate levels and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, internal customers, and suppliers on supply issues.
• Assist with product recalls and use GPO databases to ensure contracted items are purchased.
