Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate billing for supplies, monitoring costs, managing inventory, vetting new equipment, and supporting physician preference cards.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with commonly used office software; able to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of routine and specialty supplies and equipment for surgeries.
• Receive requests from department managers and procure for correct patient, procedure, date, and time.
• Maintain daily electronic billing of supply and implant entries and verify costs.
• Promote cost containment and compare supplies for substitution and availability.
• Verify delivery receipts and ensure billing accuracy with the patient.
• Coordinate with supply chain and inventory management to reduce unneeded POs.
• Maintain capital equipment inventory file and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Vet new equipment/instrumentation.
• Maintain par levels and inventory count sheets.
• Assist with physician preference cards and related processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
