Job summary

USPI Golden Ridge Surgery Center seeks a motivated Materials Manager to oversee inventory control and procurement of medical supplies across the center. Weekdays only; no holidays, weekends, or call, with occasional early mornings or late evenings based on surgical schedule.

You will coordinate receiving, stocking, pricing, and paper-work, maintain compliance with policies, and support the surgical team to ensure timely access to supplies for patient care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.
• Computer skills required.
• Experience in materials management in an OR setting desired.

Responsibilities

• Orders and maintains all medical inventory. Orders miscellaneous supplies for center.
• Performs Quarterly Inventory accounting.
• Checks in supplies per invoice and PO; delivers to location and documents back orders.
• Adheres to Center policies and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.
• Follows peri-operative nursing standards and center policies.
• Obtains pricing/quotes for equipment and supplies; maintains procurement documentation.
• Coordinates repair/replacement of damaged equipment; ensures availability for patient care.
• Maintains calm, functions as a team member during stress; supports patient safety.
