Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Able to handle stressful situations.
• Must be able to push patients/visitors in wheelchairs to their destinations.
• Valid Delaware driver’s license with limited at-fault incidents and moving violations.
• May be required to cover other locations.
• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone entering/exiting the lobby and verify identification.
• Provide visitor passes to individuals without a Beebe badge.
• Verify patient/visitor destination and provide accurate directions.
• Screen patients/visitors for temperature and virus symptoms; provide masks as needed.
• Answer phone and transfer calls to appropriate departments.
• Assist patients/visitors with wheelchairs and transportation to destinations.
• Maintain records and ensure supplies and equipment are stocked.
• Perform valet services for parking and vehicle retrieval/delivery.
• Adhere to HIPAA and hospital policies; respond to emergencies per protocol.
