Materials Managementeffectively and efficiently manages the acquisition, warehousing, distribution, transportation, and processing of the equipment and supplies required for the smooth operation of the hospital.
Aiding in all areas of managing the materials required for the operations of the organization.
Filling requisition orders from STORES items and delivering orders to department or arranging for courier transport.
Maintaining andmonitoringthe inventory control system, utilizing the computer inventory program and visual/manual checks toensurethe efficient use of inventory supplies.
Pursuing reduction of inventory expirations by proposing ideas to increaseturnand stock rotation.
Education: Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Preferred background in medical supplies and/or warehousing and distribution
