You will work a rotating schedule (1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. Tue–Fri; 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Sat) and interact with diverse patients while maintaining accuracy and friendliness in a fast-paced clinic setting.

X-ray and laboratory services are available on-site. The clinic is accepting new patients.Stockton Family Medical Center provides walk-in hours for convenient and quick care. The clinic sees patients with a sudden illness or injury that needs to be treated right away.
As a Clerk, you will be:
Answering inquiries relating to services and fees, simple insuranceinquiriesand screening emergencies
Providing detailed messages, processing of forms, scanning, updatingappropriate consentforms, updating insurance coverage, updating demographics,maintainingorganization, and completing open and closing procedures.
Communicating with providers and nursing staff
Exiting the patient in a courteous and pleasant manner andassistingthem with any questions or problems they may have prior to leaving the clinic
Assistingin scheduling, handling phonecallsand routing to theappropriate individual, including making patient appointments perappropriate guidelinesset forth by the Provider/Clinic manager.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1 year customer service
Skills: Organization, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking
Licensure/Certification: N/A
Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
