Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes Orthopaedics team seeks a Surgical Innovation Manager to lead strategic commercial initiatives across the Sports Surgical portfolio in the Boston to New York City Territory.

The role requires coordinating with R&D, Marketing, Education, and Field teams to deliver compliant growth, launches, and portfolio adoption while guiding cross‑functional execution and stakeholder accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.
• Master’s degree (MA/MS/MBA) highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 7+ years in medical device/orthopaedics/sports surgical sales, marketing or related field.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional commercial initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional commercial strategy and operating plan for Sports Surgical innovation priorities.
• Coordinate with Area VPs, Regional Managers, distributors, Marketing and Education teams.
• Own launch readiness and execution for new products and strategic programs.
• Lead evaluations and competitive conversions with clear stakeholder ownership.
• Set priorities using market intelligence and financial considerations.
• Develop portfolio growth plans across soft-tissue implants, instruments, and biologics.
• Lead sales education to ensure compliant training on product use and value.
• Establish governance with dashboards, cadence, and action owners.
• Influence across functions to accelerate decisions and remove barriers.
• Engage customers and key opinion leaders to gather insights and shape priorities.
