UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, seeks a Surgical Services Implant Coordinator for the evening shift. You will manage implant inventories, coordinate with Supply Chain, and ensure accurate data entry for procedures.

The role emphasizes keeping supplies available and compliant while supporting OR operations. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3+ years of experience, with preferred background in surgical supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year to three (3) years or greater of experience in a related role.
• Previous experience working with surgical supplies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains par level on stocked implants while balancing inventory turns and availability.
• Identifies slow moving stock and coordinates with Supply Chain to keep inventory current.
• Performs data entry charges and adjustments for surgical and angio procedures while protecting patient confidentiality.
• Initiates revenue analysis review of surgical cases at the time of case posting.
• Returns implants promptly and keeps documentation of returns.
• Adds new item numbers for new products and coordinates with Central Sterile and CDM.
• Coordinates changes in implant type with preference list coordinators.
• Uses OR and Materials Management software to project implant needs and minimize costs.
• Maintains communication with manufacturers and Materials Management regarding supplies and vendor returns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
