Job summary

Northwell Health seeks an OR Supply Technician to execute the maintenance of supplies, instruments, and equipment used in the operating room. The role ensures accurate deliveries, manages implant and supply records, and supports daily case preparation.

Responsibilities include placing purchase orders, verifying deliveries, tracking implants, recording charges, and coordinating with Purchasing and Materials Management. Must have a high school diploma and 1–3 years relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Assists in reviewing daily case schedule and pick lists and prepares case carts accordingly.
• Enters each patient\'s surgical supply profile in department computer system.
• Captures and records surgical supply charges for all surgical cases.
• Identifies and corrects implant and supply discrepancies, as needed.
• Maintains constant communication with Purchasing, Materials Management, and related departments.
• Performs related duties as required.
