The role requires an active LSA or CSFA with Texas licensure eligibility; RNFA candidates with Texas RN license are also considered. Job description

A Surgical First Assistant group is seeking a LSA. CSFA or RNFA in San Antonio, Texas for a dedicated robotic and ortho/spine team covering general surgery, OB/GYN and urology as well as spine surgery cases. Monday to Friday, 30 to 35 hours, no call and no weekends. $110,000 to $130,000 base plus quarterly bonuses. This position also offers a clear path for growth, with opportunities to move into management or directorship roles and compensation that reflects the expanded responsibility.

The role

• Provide first-assist support during robotic surgery cases in general surgery, OB/GYN and urology, working directly with the surgeon and the OR team. Opportunity to assist in spine cases within orthopedics and minimally invasive neurosurgery. No multi-level scoliosis or cranial cases.
• Established surgical services organization with a consistent case mix and a stable weekly schedule.
• First assistants here move into management roles over time, so there is upward mobility within the group and growth opportunity if desired

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Typically 30 to 35 hours per week
• No call, no weekends, no holidays. All elective cases
• Expect days where you will be done before 2pm

Compensation and benefits

• Guaranteed base salary of $110,000 - $130,000, paid annually and based on experience
• Quarterly bonus opportunity up to $8k per year

• Relocation stipend offered as well as sign on bonus
• 1099 PRN arrangements are also considered.

What we are looking for
