Job summary

Shared Practices Group is seeking a highly motivated Surgical Dental Assistant with 1–2 years of relevant experience to join our growing dental practices focused on dentures and implants. You will help establish efficient back-office workflows and ensure a sterile, well-organized operatory to support patient care.

The role requires collaboration with clinical and administrative staff, direct support to the doctor and dental lab operations, and a commitment to high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of surgical dental assisting experience.
• Knowledge of implant procedures (All-on-Four, overdentures).
• Familiar with OSHA infection control and HIPAA requirements.
• Preferred CPR and X-ray certification.

Responsibilities

• Review patient histories, vital signs, medications, and alerts; notify doctor as needed.
• Set up and break down operatory equipment; maintain accurate charting per standards.
• Assist doctor chairside during surgical and dental procedures.
