Job summary

Shared Practices Group is seeking a highly motivated Surgical Dental Assistant with 1–2 years of relevant experience to join our Reno, NV practice. You will help establish and organize the back office, develop efficient workflows, and ensure the sterile room is prepared for optimal patient care.

Your role includes collaboration with clinical and administrative teams and direct support to the doctor and dental lab operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of surgical/dentistry experience.
• Experience with implant procedures, All-on-Four and overdentures.
• OSHA infection control compliance and HIPAA privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical histories and document medications and alerts.
• Set up and break down operatory equipment and charting.
• Assist the doctor chairside during surgical and dental procedures.
• Capture CBCT and panoramic images with accuracy.
• Educate patients on procedures and post-operative care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment rooms.
• Manage clinical inventory and supplies.
