Responsibilities

• Educate patients about refractive, laser and surgical options.
• Schedule refractive, laser and surgical procedures and manage calendars.
• Explain financial responsibility and obtain/verify consent forms from patients.
• Answer patient calls and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain high standards of patient care across all interactions.
• Communicate with supervisor and/or surgeon regarding patient concerns.
• Make follow‑up calls to potential refractive candidates.

You Will Make An Impact By

• Ensuring thorough patient education and counseling about refractive, laser and surgical procedures.
• Scheduling refractive, laser and surgical procedures for patients; oversees maintenance and distribution of schedules.
• Educating patients on financial responsibility, and answering questions on financial documents and ensuring patients sign any necessary consent forms.
• Answering patient phone calls regarding questions or concerns.
• Providing other related services to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
• Communicating with supervisor and/or surgeon regarding potential patient concerns.
• Making follow‑up calls to potential refractive candidates.

You Have

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
