DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Surgical Clinician to help train AI models remotely. You will present complex perioperative problems, assess model reasoning, and provide precise corrections with clear rationale.

The role emphasizes clinical judgment to guide AI in surgical care from indications to recovery. The position is remote and independent contractor-based, with flexible hours and weekly payouts.

Qualifications

• Board certification in surgery with at least 3 years of post-residency experience, or a current license to practice clinically in surgery (RN, NP, PA, or CRNA).
• Fluency in English (native or bilingual).
• Clear, well-organized writing with ability to explain why an answer is wrong.
• Only applicants based in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Pose diverse, complex surgical and perioperative problems to AI models and evaluate their answers.
• Rate model output for correctness, completeness, and safety against the current standard of care.
• Flag inaccuracies, from a missed contraindication to a wrong operative step.
• Write the correct answer when the model falls short, with a clear rationale.

Education
