DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Surgical Medicine Expert to train AI models by presenting complex perioperative scenarios, evaluating model reasoning, and correcting outputs with clear rationale. This remote, independent contractor role offers flexible hours and weekly payouts.

Board-certified surgeons or licensed clinicians in surgery are preferred for this collaboration. Training AI to reason about indications, workups, anesthesia, procedures, and recovery, you will shape the models’

Competenze

• Board certification in surgery with at least 3 years of post-residency experience, or a current license to practice clinically in surgery.
• Backgrounds include surgeons, anesthesiologists, perioperative clinicians.
• Fluency in English (native or bilingual).
• Ability to articulate why an answer is wrong, not just that it is.

Mansioni

• Pose diverse, complex surgical and perioperative problems to AI models and evaluate answers.
• Rate model output for correctness, completeness, and safety.
• Flag inaccuracies, from a missed contraindication to a wrong operative step.
• Write the correct answer with a clear rationale when the model falls short.
