DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced surgeon to train AI models by presenting complex surgical and perioperative problems, evaluating model reasoning, and identifying where it falls short of clinical practice. This remote, independent contractor role emphasizes clear clinical judgment and precise written explanations.

Responsibilities include posing cases, rating outputs, flagging inaccuracies, and providing corrected rationales to guide AI development.

Competenze

• Board certification in surgery with at least 3 years of post-residency experience.
• Current license to practice clinically in surgery (e.g. RN, NP, PA, or CRNA).
• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
• Clear, well-organized writing, and the ability to explain why an answer is wrong.
• Applicants based in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States only.

Mansioni

• Pose diverse, complex surgical and perioperative problems to AI models and evaluate their answers.
• Rate model output for correctness, completeness, and safety against the current standard of care.
• Flag inaccuracies, from missed contraindications to wrong operative steps.
• Write the correct answer with a clear rationale when the model falls short.
