Labela seeks U.S.-based General Surgeons at all career stages for high-level clinical consulting to validate and audit AI-driven clinical reasoning. This 100% remote role allows flexible hours to fit around clinical commitments, with a focused cohort headquartered in Texas.

Participants will refine AI outputs, ensure safety, and provide expert judgment on surgical candidacy and complex cases, contributing to scalable AI safety and accuracy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible surgeon (ABS).
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training.
• Based in the United States.
• Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.

Responsibilities

• Audit AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies for ACS-aligned standards.
• Provide expert-level validation for complex surgical cases and imaging.
• Identify inaccuracies or hallucinations affecting patient safety or triage decisions.
• Advise on AI-driven clinical decision support tool development for surgical care.
