Qualifications

• Completion of Level I Nurse Aide education program approved by the NC Board of Nursing or completion of Level II Nurse Aide education program.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for procedures and provide manual assistance as required.
• Obtain and record patient data for medical records.
• Administer routine personal care and comfort measures.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient positioning.
• Record vital signs and intake/output; report changes to RN/LPN.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transportation of patients.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and restock supplies.
• Document care in the EMR and communicate with care team.
