Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in a medical office environment preferred.
• Exposure to physician billing, medical collections, and surgery scheduling and/or patient access will help in this role.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient procedures across departments and clinics following established protocols.
• Obtain pre-certifications and coordinate with insurers and physicians to ensure coverage and proper billing.
• Enter scheduling, insurance, and registration information accurately into the system(s).
• Monitor and manage surgical block time; communicate with surgeons about availability and timing.
