Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient surgical procedures and pre/post-operative appointments to optimize operating room usage.
• Maintain master surgery calendar for physicians.
• Obtain authorizations and pre-authorization referrals for procedures.
• Prepare patient charts and packets with relevant medical information for surgery.
• Educate patients about surgical processes, insurance, and upcoming appointments.
• Input CPT and ICD-9 codes into the billing system.
