Responsibilities

• Coordinate in-patient and out-patient procedures and exams for appropriate locations providing all pre-registration information to medical facilities.
• Coordinate related information pertaining to patient medications.
• Secure all prior authorization, precertification, and referrals from federal and state government agencies and out-of-plan referring physicians, while completing all required forms and documentation.
• Coordinate communication of fee and coding issues between physician and business services.
• Administrative tasks to support Surgeon and prepare surgery packets and related materials.
