Hopedale Medical Complex in Hopedale, IL seeks a Surgery Scheduling and Clinical Support to assist the Surgery Scheduler and Ambulatory Surgery Department. This multifaceted role combines patient scheduling, admin tasks, and clinical support in a busy healthcare setting.

You will coordinate procedures, maintain schedules, learn the EHR system, support staff, and help transport patients while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare scheduling or administrative support preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Typing speed of 40–50 wpm with high accuracy.
• Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgery scheduling and patient coordination.
• Answer calls for surgery scheduling and the Ambulatory Surgery Department.
• Maintain accurate surgery schedules and verify patient information.
• Learn and use the EHR system and document patient data securely.
• Support transportation of patients and assist with rooming and vital signs as needed.
• Ensure confidential patient records and coordinate with staff and departments.
