Texas Transplant Physician Group is seeking a full-time Medical Office Specialist to obtain CPT/ICD-10 codes, coordinate OR time and scheduling with facilities and anesthesia, and verify physician credentialing. The role requires adherence to HIPAA and conduct standards.

• High school degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred.
• BLS may be required as per practice standard.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains CPT and ICD-10 Diagnosis codes and other clinical information as required for treatment of the patient from practice staff.
• Determines OR time needed for the procedure and coordinates scheduling with Facility and anesthesia coverage.
• Verifies physician is credentialed at the Center of Facility before scheduling the patient.
• Coordinates provider clinic and facility schedule, including time-out, travel, meetings and CME.
• Adheres to HCA Code of Conduct and HIPAA requirements.
