Job summary

This hourly role supports Monday–Friday, 8 am–4:30 pm. Strong customer service and clear communication are essential, with basic medical terminology knowledge encouraged within 180 days of start.

Qualifications

• High school or GED equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
• Typing, filing, telephone skills.
• Basic Microsoft applications proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Return voicemails promptly and professionally.
• Schedule procedures and pre-op appointments.
• Obtain prior authorizations when needed.
• Review referrals via EMR, fax, and phone.
• Communicate all pertinent procedure information to patients and involved parties.
