Job summary

Eye Associates of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Surgery Schedule Coordinator I to join our Retina Center as a full-time team member. You will work closely with patients, surgeons, and surgical facilities to ensure seamless scheduling and thorough preoperative preparation.

You will assist with financial counseling, verify insurance, educate patients on procedures and medications, and maintain accurate records to support timely surgery.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational & communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks & collaborate with a team.
• Medical office experience preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures & coordinate pre/post-op appointments.

• Work closely with physicians, ASC/hospital staff & insurance providers.
• Maintain accurate patient records & ensure timely surgery preparation.
