Las Palmas Del Sol Cardiology, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to provide clerical support ensuring efficient patient care. The role involves securing CPT/ICD-10 codes, authorizations, and coordinating OR scheduling with the facility.

The candidate should have a high school diploma and at least one year of medical office experience; BLS may be required per practice standards. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• BLS may be required as per practice standard.

Responsabilités

• Obtain CPT and ICD-10 codes and other clinical information from practice staff for treatment.
• Prepare documentation for Medicare forms and notices according to practice procedures.
• Determine OR time and coordinate with Facility to schedule procedures, anesthesia coverage, and required records.
• Ensure scheduling packets are correct and timely.
• Obtain patient face sheets from Insurance Verification to secure authorizations by plan type.
• Upload authorization notes and scans into the medical record or practice management system.
