Job summary

HCA Florida Miami-Dade Surgical Specialists is seeking an experienced administrative professional to support OR scheduling, credentialing and medical office coordination. The role involves obtaining CPT/ICD-10 codes, coordinating provider time, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

This full-time daytime role requires attention to detail, HIPAA compliance, and the ability to work with practice staff and facilities.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred.
• Minimum (1) year of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred.
• BLS may be required as per practice standard.

Responsibilities

• Obtains CPT and ICD-10 Diagnosis codes and other clinical information for treatment from practice staff.
• Determines OR time needed and coordinates scheduling with the facility, including anesthesia coverage.
• Verifies physician credentialing at the facility before scheduling.
• Coordinates provider clinic and facility schedules, including meetings and CME activities.
• Supports HIPAA, ethics and compliance policies as required.
