Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Santa Fe, NM is hiring a Surgery Scheduler to coordinate and schedule surgical procedures from start to finish. You will communicate with patients, clinics, surgeons, ORs and ambulatory facilities to ensure accurate, timely case preparation and seamless execution, while navigating insurance authorizations and resources.

Competenze

• Minimum 18 months of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
• Experience supporting and working directly with surgeons is required.
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding is preferred.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and schedule complex surgical procedures across clinic, OR, and ASC settings, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Obtain and verify all required prior authorizations, certifications, referrals, and insurance information before procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date daily, weekly, and monthly surgery calendars.
