The role emphasizes accurate data gathering from physicians, reporting statistics, and delivering service excellence in a fast-paced medical setting. A high school diploma and medical office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of medical experience preferred.
• Reliability, responsibility, dependability in fulfilling obligations.
• Careful about detail and thorough in completing tasks.
• Knowledge of administrative/clerical procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge of electronic equipment and office software.
• Knowledge of customer service principles, assessing needs and satisfaction.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completed Medical Assistant/Specialist program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for surgery and other procedures.
• Communicate preparations to patient and relay information within Scheduling Department.
• Gather information from physicians regarding supplies and report statistics as requested.
• Demonstrate service excellence at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
