Kansas City Joint Replacement, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to coordinate surgical scheduling, ensure accurate coding, and verify credentialing. The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance and efficient clinic-to-facility coordination.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in a medical office setting, with a high school diploma preferred. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a Monday–Friday day schedule with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains CPT and ICD-10 codes and other clinical information for treatment from practice staff.
• Determines OR time needed for procedures and coordinates scheduling with the facility.
• Verifies physician credentialing at the Center or Facility before scheduling.
• Coordinates provider clinic and facility schedules, including time outs, meetings, and CME.
• Adheres to HCA Code of Conduct, Ethics and Compliance policies, and HIPAA requirements.
