Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced surgery scheduler to support 2-3 surgeons and their administrative team in California. You will schedule procedures, manage pre/post-op appointments, obtain authorizations, verify insurance, and coordinate pre-op testing and imaging.

Candidates with prior scheduling and insurance authorization experience will be prioritized. This role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth, including benefits for temporary assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient scheduling and insurance authorization preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with surgical teams and administrative staff.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient procedures and pre/post-op appointments.
• Submit authorizations and investigate denials.
• Verify insurance coverage for patients.
• Update patient demographics and medical records.
• Coordinate pre-op testing, EKGs, labs and imaging.
• Request medical records and ensure patient charts are up to date.
