Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia seeks a Residency Coordinator for Surgery to join the Residency Program Leadership Team. You will handle administrative functions, ensure program governance, and oversee residents, fellows, and students in accordance with ACGME requirements.

You will manage the recruitment process, exams, and residency events, and coordinate didactics and evaluations. Proficiency with accreditation systems and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health administration, education, or business.
• Experience with residency program coordination and accreditation requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ACGME program requirements and compliance processes.
• Proven leadership and personnel management skills for a complex program.
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interact with program leadership to develop and govern educational programs.
• Manage recruitment, didactic scheduling, and conferences for residents and fellows.
• Coordinate annual evaluations, CC/EC and program assessments.
• Oversee residency events: orientation, graduation, wellness, retreats, and awards.
• Liaise with Finance for Medicare cost reports and ensure program rotations align with reporting requirements.
