Job summary

Jefferson’s Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the Residency Program Leadership Team. You will work with the Program Director and Associate Program Directors to oversee administrative functions for residency/fellowship educational programs, ensuring compliance with ACGME requirements and managing residents, fellows, and students.

Responsibilities include coordinating recruitment, exams, evaluations, resident handbooks and events, and liaising

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably Health Administration, education or business.
• 2 years experience as a residency program coordinator in a Graduate Medical Education facility.
• Proficient knowledge of Graduate Medical Education residency program coordination process.
• Proficient knowledge of ACGME Accreditation requirements.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Works with Program Directors and Associate Program Directors in the development, planning, and governance of educational programs and oversight of students and residents.
• Manage annual recruitment process for educational programs and coordinate didactic classes and conference attendance.
• Responsible for resident, faculty, and program evaluation processes and for various residency committees as needed.
